United Methodists in Germany Welcome Refugees

Europe is currently immersed in its largest refugee crisis since the end of World War II, and many of the hundreds of thousands of refugees who've fled Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan and other war-torn lands are headed to Germany. Rolf Held is the United Methodist pastor in the small town of Messstetten, in southern Germany. In this video provided by the United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR), he describes the impact that thousands of refugees have had on his community, and how people have responded calmly and compassionately to their new neighbors.
