The General Board of Global Ministries connects The United Methodist Church, its people, and congregations to partner with others engaged in God’s global work, which takes place in a variety of settings, countries, and cultures. Global Ministries works through missionaries and partners in more than 70 countries around the world in a range of activities and professions including pastors, educators, congregational and leadership developers, agriculturalists, health coordinators, and doctors. Give knowing that 100% of your gift will be used to help the program, ministry or missionary you designate. This is possible through The Advance, an official program of The United Methodist Church for voluntary, designated, second-mile giving.
ABOUT THE ADVANCE
The Advance is an accountable, voluntary giving platform that supports the worldwide mission of The United Methodist Church. The Advance channel ensures 100% of each gift reaches its intended mission or ministry. You decide which program or ministry to support through The Advance platform. The purpose of The Advance is to: 1) be an educational tool connecting with the ministries being established around the world; 2) be an evangelical vehicle to rebuild and expand faith communities and churches; and 3) provide a safe channel to send aid to those in need and other displaced and hurting people. The Advance work is managed through the General Board of Global Ministries.
