An online expression of faith, UMC.org shares the message of Christ's love with people throughout the world. UMC.org is produced by United Methodist Communications, the global communications agency of The United Methodist Church.

- Is a unifying proclamation to all that The United Methodist Church believes and works in the name of Jesus Christ
- Strengthens the connectedness among the many diverse expressions of our church
- Renders our faith accessible to those outside and at the fringes of our faith, as well as those already joined in faith
- Creates new traditions of knowledge sharing, spiritual growth, prayer and worship opportunities that touch people and lead them to experience Christ's saving grace in new ways
The Charge of UMC.org
The General Commission on Communication (United Methodist Communications) shall be charged with planning and implementation of the official United Methodist presence on and use of the Internet, the World Wide Web, or other computer services that can connect United Methodist conferences, agencies, and local churches with one another and with the larger world.
